Two Brothers Organic Margaret River Chardonnay 2025

From a small parcel of low-yielding Gin Gin Chardonnay vines planted over 25 years ago, this wine reflects the quiet intensity that comes with maturity and careful farming. The vineyard was painstakingly converted from spur to cane pruning to restore balance and vitality, a long-term decision that now shows in the depth and precision of the fruit.

Each parcel was gently harvested and pressed before undergoing natural fermentation in a combination of concrete egg (20%) and seasoned French oak barrels (80%). The concrete brings purity and tension, while the oak softens the edges whilst imprinting subtle flavour. The wine was only roughly filtered, preserving texture and keeping it as close to the vineyard as possible.

The result is a fresh, crisp Margaret River Chardonnay with fine citrus acidity, white stone fruit and subtle almond meal complexity. There is a quiet savoury line beneath the fruit, giving structure and length without heaviness. Organic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar allow the site to speak clearly: precise, elegant, and unmistakably coastal.
