The aromatics are immediate and commanding: blackberry compote and blackcurrant liqueur layered with charred herbs and dark chocolate. Beneath the fruit sits roasted spice and cocoa, adding warmth without sweetness.

The palate is rich with cassis and plum, but this is no simple fruit-driven wine. A savoury thread runs through the core — dried thyme, graphite and the iron-edged backbone of old-school Cabernet — giving tension and seriousness.
